Specialty Camps

Specialty Camps

This Summer, we’re bringing back “Specialty Camp,” where we will be partnering with Culver City community’s Varsity coaches to assist our staff in training sessions! It’s time for your child to take their skills to the next level!

A Day at Sports Camp

Curious to know what a day at Prime Time looks like? Click the icons below to catch a glimpse!

TK/Kindergarten

Specialty Camp for TK/Kinder campers includes a half-day training session for basketball, soccer, or lacrosse. Our specialty camps allow for children to focus specifically on one sport during the first half of the day. For the remainder of the day, campers will join our Day Camp group for arts and crafts and Prime Time Classic games. Specialty Camp allows for younger campers to develop their skills and knowledge of the sport. They will be accompanied by experienced staff as well!

Families that need an early start to their day can drop campers off for morning extended care between 8:00am – 8:45am. There are additional charges for extended care.
Each day kicks-off with an all-camp, energizing opening ceremony. During this time, we go over camp rules, staff introductions, fun group competitions, and additional information about the week’s events!
Campers will join their coaches in a basic skills training session. Coaches will go over the rules of the sport and teach the campers how to use proper techniques. Campers will learn the fundamentals prior to playing games.
Snack breaks are typically 10-minutes and will include a small snack provided by the site. Snacks on-site are peanut-free but if campers have particular food allergies, it is recommended that they bring their own food.
In the second training session of the day, campers will participate in fun games relating to their sport. For instance, soccer campers will play “Hungry Hippos” or commonly known as “Steal the Bacon.” We want to make your child’s specialty camp experience informative and fun!
Campers will have a 30-minute lunch break in a designated area with staff supervision. Catered lunch will be provided on-site if parents placed an order the night before. If your child forgets lunch, parents can drop their food off before 12pm.
After lunch, campers will have 30-minutes of free play followed by a halftime show. Our Prime Time halftime shows include various activities including Fireball, a Staff half court shot competition, a Staff vs. CIT basketball game, and much more!
Everyday, campers have the opportunity to participate in water play where coaches will supervise activities such as water balloon fights, nerf water battles, a slip and slide, and much more! Make sure your child brings a change of clothes if they would like to participate! If your child does not want to participate in water activities, a coach will supervise outdoor scooter time.
At the conclusion of camp, campers will have the opportunity to enjoy a snow cone or popsicle. On Fridays, we will have our classic ice cream party sundae bar with endless toppings for all to indulge in!
At the end of the day, we look forward to playing trivia with our campers as they enjoy their sweet treat! It’s a great way for the kids to test their knowledge in sports, random fun facts, and Prime Time trivia!
Families that need extended care in the afternoon can pick their child up from camp between 4:00pm – 6:00pm. There are additional charges for extended care.

1st + Up

Specialty Camp for 1st & Up campers includes a full-day of training sessions with experienced coaches in basketball, soccer, or lacrosse. Our specialty camp allows for children to gain more knowledge for the sport, develop their skills and technique, and become a stronger player. If your child is enthusiastic about any of these sports, we would love to help them grow. We allow for campers of all skill-levels to participate as well. We can only make each other better players!
